I love food.
I have an appreciation for the foods of all cultures.
I love being able to eat what I want, when I want.
But every three seconds...
a child dies of hunger.

I pray that I will never know what it means to hunger and thirst, to starve. But just because this is not my reality, does not mean it is not the reality of millions of others. We are one world, one people. And, as such, we have a duty to uphold one another. Just one hungry person (much less the billions that live below the international poverty line) is enough. It should never be justified as acceptable. We have a responsibility to "feed just one" and to start the movement to end world hunger.
